Process & Timeline
Scholarships are awarded annually during the SHS Honor Night and in July for college students. Our transparent application process ensures every local resident has the opportunity to apply for academic funding.
Step 1
APPLICANTS MUST BE A SENIOR
You will have to graduate SHS and be planning to attend an accredited college, university, technical or vocational school.
Step 2

See application for exact date. Applicants must complete the entire application (essay, Student Information Pages, and Acknowledgement/Release form) and submit it to the Guidance Office at Speedway High School before the deadline.
Step 3

Continuing Education Scholarships are available to college students for their second, third, and fourth year of college.

The student must be a resident of Speedway, Indiana.

Deadlines are typically in early June and scholarships are awarded in July.

The response topic is released in May each year on this website and through local media press releases.
